The hotel features checkered Moroccan tile, swirls of patterned carpets, red velvet curtains set against lumber pillars and Belle Epoque decor framing Italian stone fireplaces. An adjacent candlelit room introduces Jade Bar, a narrow, intimate setting with 17-foot windows looking onto Lexington Avenue. The popular Rose Bar touts a wood-burning fireplace and a walnut bar opposite a custom-designed pool table. In Aerospace, the hotel's health club, cardiovascular equipment is available 24-hours a day and personal trainers are available by appointment. The Aerospa offers massages, muscle wraps, and a plethora of other beauty, and therapeutic treatments. A business center and meeting spaces are located within the hotel's 18 floors.
The hotel features unique layouts throughout each of its 185 guestrooms. Rooms include period decor, imported rugs and original oak floors. The restaurant is being conceived by Alan Yau, the creator of the UK s only one-star Michelin Chinese restaurant, Hakkasan. It is scheduled to open in Fall of 2006.
