The Essex Inn is one of the only hotels in Chicago to offer a luxurious all-season rooftop swimming pool and fitness center. Located on the fourth floor, this architectural gem has a beautiful garden and views of Grant Park and Michigan Avenue. The hotel offers valet parking (for a fee), laundry facilities, express check-in/out, 24-hour front desk service, and free shuttle service to the Magnificent Mile. Brasserie by LM
Offers a range of dishes throughout the day with very French familiarity. Look for the omelet de maison, savory crepes, pain au chocolate, onion soup gratinee, chicken liver mousse, Croque Monsiuer (or Madame if you add an egg), steak frites, mussels frites, chopped salad with chevre, duck confit, pork belly and more.
OFF PROPERTY:
Chicago Fire House Restaurant is in an attractive turn of the century building that formerly housed the Chicago Fire Department. Great efforts were made to preserve as much as possible- The tin ceiling, glazed tile walls, two fire poles located in the bar and the chiefs wall passed when entering the bar- are all original. Since opening as a restaurant in 2000, the Chicago Firehouse Engine Company 104 still serves the neighborhood today-with its American Classic menu.

Gioco is located at 1312 South Wabash in an historic building built in 1890 that is one of the few remaining buildings in Chicago from that era.
