Located in the town of Hana on the eastern tip of Maui, Travaasa Hana (formerly known as Hotel Hana Maui) is the first resort on the island to greet the rising sun. Hana Airport, a small commuter airport with service from Kahului Airport, is 3-miles from the resort. Kahului Airport is 53-miles from the resort.
Set above Kaihalulu Bay, Travaasa Hana is a unique resort focused on providing Travaasas”, or experiences, of adventure, culinary, culture, fitness, and spa & wellness. Available activities include horseback trail rides, stand up paddling, snorkeling, cooking classes, hula lessons, lei making classes, Hawaiian throw-net fishing, ukulele lessons, yoga and other fitness classes, and guided meditation. The Spa at Travaasa Hana, awarded as the Number One Resort Spa in Hawaii by Conde Nast Readers, offers men's and women's steam rooms, cold plunge pool, indoor and outdoor showers, and multiple treatment rooms for facials, massages, and other spa treatments.
Guest rooms are free of radios, clocks, and TVs to allow guests to enjoy the low key vibe of Hana. Garden View Suites offer one king bed, wet bar, refrigerator stocked with complimentary bottled water and sodas, and ceiling fans. The plantation style Sea Ranch Cottages offer one king bed, living room area, wet bar, ceiling fan, and lanai overlooking the ocean (some with private hot tubs).
