Part of the larger Mauna Kea Resort, the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is located on 32 oceanfront acres on a bluff overlooking Hapuna Beach, and is approximately 26 miles from Keahole-Kona International Airport. Local attractions include Kailua-Kona Town, approximately 32 miles away, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, located 96 miles from the resort.
Guests will enjoy the resort's white sand beach and landscaped gardens, as well as the outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool. Kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, and other water sports are available on Hapuna Beach. The 18-hole Hapuna Golf Course features views of the Pacific and Mauna Kea volcano, and was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. The golf area also includes a driving range, putting green, practice bunker, pro shop, lessons, and equipment for rent. Additional amenities include helicopter tours, stargazing through the resort's high-powered telescope, shops, free inter-resort shuttle, onsite fitness center, free beach and pool towel service, business center, dry cleaning service, babysitting services, and a kids' club. Self or valet parking is available at a daily surcharge. Guests also have access to the facilities at the Mauna Kea Beach Resort, including an additional golf course and spa, as well as a tennis club.
All 350 guest rooms are designed in a contemporary style with natural earth tones and cool blue colors. Bathrooms feature a double vanity, separate shower and full-sized tub.
