The Governor Hotel is located in downtown Portland, approximately 10 miles from Portland International Airport. Built in 1909, during the prosperous days following the Lewis and Clark Exposition, the hotel is located four blocks from the Pioneer Place Mall and Pioneer Courthouse Square, five blocks from Oregon History Center, seven blocks from Portland Performing Arts Center, and eight blocks from Portland Art Museum. The Rose Garden and Coliseum is half a mile away.

Jakes Grill is located in the hotel. The hotel also offers complimentary morning coffee, complimentary weekday newspapers, 24-hour room service, concierge service, valet parking (with fee), nightly turndown service, valet laundry and dry-cleaning services, complimentary shoeshine, and complimentary high-speed Wireless Internet. Starbucks is located just off the lobby and offers room service. Please note that the Health Club is newly renovated and open with all new equipment.
