The Hyatt Regency Newport is located on Newport's private Goat Island, approximately a quarter-mile from downtown with views of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. Newport's shops, mansions, yachts, and historic attractions are within walking distance. Hotel amenities include the spa and health club with exercise bike, free weights, indoor and outdoor pool, life-cycle, massage treatments, the Newport Spa, sauna, and treadmill. There are also golf and horse riding facilities nearby (available during high season, May through September). All rooms have coffeemakers, irons and iron boards, hairdryers, room service, and cable TV. A Resort fee is paid by guests directly to the hotel. Fee is $20 per room, per night October-April and $35 May-September includes high speed wireless Internet access in guest room, overnight self parking, Hyatt shuttle van transportation to/from downtown Newport, water shuttle to/from downtown Newport, 2 free bottled waters per guest room per night, 24 hour access to Fitness Center, Unlimited local phone calls and on property resort activities.
