The star of the show is haute French cuisine, created by the same Chef Mustiere, who greatly respects the essence of the ingredients in his kitchen without using any type of flour or powders. He also provides a touch of modernism and elegance to his presentations and prepares each dish with the reductions, consommés and stocks, and meticulous, brilliant sauces that impart the impeccable, classic flavors that distinguish them. Located in the Grand Velas Riviera Maya convention center, Sen Lin Restaurant & Bar is one of the top Asian restaurants in the Playa del Carmen area. FRIDA
Frida offers exceptional Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. Every dish is a gourmet masterpiece that reflects the rich culinary heritage of Mexico. The gourmet menu at Frida restaurant, created by Chef Ricardo de la Vega, features such delicacies as Sea Bass in Yellow Mole sauce served with Cilantro Rice and Tender Green Beans. COCINA DE AUTOR
Cocina de Autor is a creative cuisine restaurant in constant evolution, seeking to evoke new sensations and emotions through its food and service to our customers. The tasting menu is the maximum expression of avante garde food.
Over the years Chef Bruno Oteiza and Chef Mikel Alonso have each developed our own cuisine. Today both personalities come together as one person, Chef Xavier, to achieve what we know as Cocina de Autor, or our Signature Restaurant.
Cocina de Autor has been recently named one of the "100 Best New Food & Drink Experiences"in the world by Food & Wine magazine.
Cocina de Autor is a non-smoking restaurant and opens daily from 6pm to 11pm. Reservations are required. All restaurant seating is in the air-conditioned dining room.
LUCCA
Italian-Mediterranean cuisine distinguishes the scrumptious menu of seafood, gourmet meats, and homemade pastas at Lucca. House specialties include agnello de Lucca, ravioli served on a bed of mushrooms with basil and black olive sauce, and roasted leg of lamb served with eggplant caviar marinated in a thyme-infusion sauce and Robalo al Duo di pesto. Families with children are welcome at Lucca.

AZUL
Enjoy delicious meals with family and friends any time of day at Azul. This family friendly restaurant features open-air dining and a casual atmosphere. Azul is distinguished by an international buffet of traditional cuisine from around the world and grilled selections. The comprehensive lunch and dinner menu at Azul features everything from grilled hamburgers to sushi and tempura, to pasta, pizza, croissant sandwiches, burritos and tacos. Azul also serves breakfast.

BISTRO
Bistro is a French-style restaurant with a prime ocean-front setting in the adult-only section of Grand Velas Riviera Maya. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Bistro offers a wide selection of French-inspired dishes as well as local favorites. The Bistro menu features soups, salads, sandwiches on fresh-baked French bread, decadent quiches, flakey croissants, and Riviera Maya dining specialties like Mayan ceviche and seafood Yucatan pozole. The Bistro breakfast menu features such delightful offerings as French toast, omelets, and Playa del Carmen eggs. Located near the pool of the Grand Velas Riviera Maya jungle section, Chaká is a casual, open-air restaurant situated amid the tropical jungle foliage of mangroves, Salam, Chechen and Chaká trees. The Chaká menu features a variety of international delights that are natural and healthy. Specialty coffees, international wines, mouthwatering desserts, and tantalizing entrees are made at Chaká an incredible Riviera Maya dining spot. The restaurant is open seasonally.

Grand Velas Riviera Maya restaurants offer exquisite dining experiences in beautifully designed spaces. Casually elegant resort attire is required for Frida, Lucca, Piaf, Cocina de Autor, and Sen Lin. Gentlemen will feel comfortable in closed footwear. Please no shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, sneakers or beach sandals. Ladies will feel comfortable in evening resort attire with non-beach footwear.
Cancellation policy - Reservations are held for ten minutes after the scheduled reservation time. After this time your table will be released to guests on the waiting list. You may cancel your reservation with no charge by contacting your concierge before 11:00am on the day of the reservation. Please note that a charge of $20 USD per person will be assessed if you fail to arrive at your reserved time and do not advise us of your cancellation by 11:00am the same day.
SKY BAR
Pair prime sunset viewing with tasty drinks at the hip, rooftop Sky Bar. Located in the adult-only section of Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Sky Bar offers a chic lounge setting and nightly entertainment with DJ music and dancing. Sky Bar is open daily from 6pm to 11pm.

Grand Velas Riviera Maya Karaoke Bar sets the stage for the Playa del Carmen nightlife scene. This state-of-the-art Karaoke system features hundreds of songs guaranteed to rock the house or swoon your sweetie. Karaoke Bar is located in the Ambassador family-friendly area of the resort.
