The Morris House Hotel a national historic landmark built in 1787 is seven miles away from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). The hotel is located in the district of downtown Philadelphia known as Society Hill which is just two blocks from some of the nation's most important landmarks such as Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Three major hospitals are all within three blocks, and the Convention Center is just a 10 minute walk. A short walk away are world class restaurants, the theatre district, and the famous lively South Street with unique shops.
The hotel is an 18th century setting which is the only hotel offering a private garden along with an extended continental breakfast from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, an afternoon tea along with daily homemade Gourmet cookies in the dining room with original fireplaces, complimentary wireless high-speed internet access, computer work station, meetings and events like small weddings, and convenient parking (charges apply).
