Hotel Radisson Blu Schwarzer Bock is Germany's oldest luxury hotel. The German theologian Martin Luther was three years old and America was not yet discovered when the former Schwarze Bock opened as a public bath house. Numerous sights such as the Kurhaus with its elegant casino, the Hessian State Theater, and the legendary Mile of Antiquities are in close proximity to the hotel.

Since the 19th century, the Bath House, the symbiosis between traditional bathhouse architecture and a modern SpaScape, of the hotel Schwarzer Bock is the first address for health-conscious guests and inhabitants of Wiesbaden. The historic part features individual bathing rooms for relaxing soaks and massages. Located in the back of the building, it features a Finnish sauna, steam room, and fun shower. The thermal bath features a 5x7-meter indoor pool with natural spring water averaging about 30 degrees Celsius.

Its bar, 1486, is a historic spot with trendy bar music. During the summer months the hotel serves culinary delights in its Hofgarten summer garden, one of those places in Wiesbaden that the locals want to keep a secret.
