Buses take guests from the Orlando International Airport to the Disney Resort hotel, while the bags are transported and taken straight to the hotel room. Featuring palm trees, a lighthouse, and Victorian-era decor, Disney's Old Key West Resort recreates the beach town feel of the Florida Keys and is approximately 20 miles from Orlando International Airport. Local attractions include the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks, all located near the resort.
Guests of this resort may enjoy a variety of recreational activities. Sailboats, pedal boats, canoes, mini-motorboats, and more are available for rent at the marina. Active guests can play a few games on the volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts (tennis equipment available for rent), ride a bike, or go for a run on the resort's scenic trail. The R.E.S.T. Beach Recreation Department features a fitness center, sauna, and massage services. Four heated pools, a children's pool, and whirlpools are located throughout the resort. Children will find amusement on the playgrounds, in the arcade, or with a board game in the Community Hall.
Additional amenities include a shuffleboard court, babysitting services, laundry facilities, laundry services, and parking. Dining options include seafood and American favorites in Olivia's Cafe, and snacks at Good's Food to Go.
Studio (376 sq ft) and one bedroom villas (942 sq ft) are available. Guest rooms feature coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards, hairdryers, safes, cable TV, high-speed Internet access (for a fee), kitchens, microwaves, and refrigerators.
