Disney's Magical Express Service is another benefit to staying at an on-site Disney Resort hotel. Buses take guests from the Orlando International Airport to the Disney Resort hotel, while the bags are transported and taken straight to the hotel room. When the vacation is over, guests and the bags are transported from the Disney Resort hotel back to the airport. Disney's Polynesian Resort features tropical gardens, a white-sand beach, and live entertainment, and is approximately 24 miles from Orlando International Airport. Local attractions include the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks, all located near the resort. Transportation to Walt Disney World® Resort areas are available by monorail, ferry, and/or bus.
Guests may start their day by soaking up the sun on the beach, or with a quick swim in one of the two outdoor swimming pools. The Nanea Volcano Pool features a waterslide, zero-depth entry point, and a children's wet play area. Canopy boats and mini-motorboats are available for rent in the marina. Guests may also enjoy catch-and-release fishing, a volleyball court, a jogging trail, and a video arcade.
Additional amenities include a supervised kids' club, babysitting services, and a gift shop. Disney's Spirit of Aloha dinner show features Polynesian dancing, music, and a three-course feast. Other dining options include South Pacific cuisine at 'Ohana, the Asian-inspired Kona Cafe, and Captain Cook's Snack Company.
Guest rooms feature air-conditioning, hairdryers, cable TV, safes, alarm clocks, voicemail, irons, and ironing boards.
