Very nice room, comfortable bed, quiet - The restaurants in the hotel were expensive, but the breakfast buffet was excellent and well worth the money. Inexpensive restaurants and coffee shops are around the corner. The lap pool and fitness room were exceptionally nice. The extraordinary subway system has an entrance half a block away. Desk staff was very helpful.

Hotel is great in general. I didn't use any hotel amenities except for the business center. They charge 550 WONS per minute to use their computer and internet. Super clean rooms. They insist on cleaning the rooms even though you put do not disturb. The bed is on the hard side but comfortable. Great goose down pillows and blanket. Great value for the money. 10 minutes away from COEX by cab. Few restaurants outside (behind) the hotel you might enjoy. There is a small convenient store ( like 7/11) behind the hotel too. Room service food is average. Try the continental breakfast with egg and sausage. Cons: Room is little smaller then what I'm used to.

I stayed at this hotel for three days on a business trip and it was excellent. The room was clean, and the hotel staff were extremely helpful. The food and beverage can be a bit pricey as they're in any other hotels in Korea, but there are various dining options around the hotel. I tried the sauna in the basement (I think it was little over $10) and loved it. It was such a treat after a long winter day. I'd definitely stay at the hotel again.

Subways

If you're adventurous enough, try the subways. There is a subway station about 5 to 10 minutes away from the hotel on foot. It's cheap, fast and easy to get around the city.

I have been staying at the Riviera for many years. The location is good close to COEX, but for the price you can't beat it. The Spa in the basement is great, and so it the pool with 3 lap lanes. The breakfast is a bit pricey, but there is a conveniece store just outside if you want to go that route. Staff is freindly, and the rooms are clean.

Not in the center of Seoul, but <15 minutes walk to the metro and near other restaurants & shopping.Clean rooms & helpful staff, tho English isn't great. 25 yard long lap pool is WONDERFUL. Beds are "Korean-hard".
