Squaw Valley Lodge

This is a first class property with well-appointed condos, a very nice, outdoor swimming pool with a spectacular view of the mountain. Located at the edge of the village, the Lodge provides a sense of privacy but is just yards away from a variety of restaurants.

The hotel was just 100 yards from the nearest lifts and it was extremely convenient to even stop by and unwind or warm up or change clothes for lunch, rest and then hit the slopes again. They also had a few Jacuzzis, some outside (which was really cool) and some inside. There was also a very well equipped gym at your disposal and a barbeque. Overall we had a great stay at the Squaw Valley Lodge. 5 out of 5 without thinking.

Comfy, full apartment allowed us to enjoy home services while away. Able to cook in (although microwave poor/fridge small) but serviceable for a 3 day stay. You need to know area and have a car.\n

We had a wonderful relaxing time in a beautiful part of the country. Loved the activities that were close by and the peace and quiet. The pool and the jacuzzi were terrific: 1 big pool and 5 different jacuzzis . Lake Tahoe was only 10 minutes away and went to Kings Beach farther down the road (nice beach for the family). We went jet skiing and such; great beach. It was a great vacation...we will be back. Thanks!

We had fun at the food and shopping area just 2 minutes walk away and had a great time playing miniature golf which was through out the whole shopping area.

The only thing I can say is less than perfect is the lack of A/C. Near record temps in July made the room to warm for our liking It did cool off at night and was very plesant. Other than that is was a great place to stay.
