Great place to stay!! :-)
Was in Las Vegas to celebrate my birthday, with just my boyfriend and I. The Hilton was a great choice :-) the customer service was great and reservation service was fast. We were able to check in early and check out late. Accomodations were just as we expected..the rooms weren't to big but it was perfect size for party of 2. i enjoyed the quietness of the entire hotel and rooms. The smal kichens provided everything we needed on our 2night stay...we had bought some groceries to help and have on meals. overall it was a great experiance and we would most definatly stay again.
Good deal not at a casino hotel!
HGVC on the strip is a very nice property. Guest rooms are nicely appointed and, since the hotel is toward the North end of the strip the price is reasonable. Best of all... you don't have to walk through a casino to get to your guest room! Stratosphere is within easy walking distance (about 4 blocks) and the closest monorail station is short walk through the Sahara casino (about 2 blocks). I will certainly consider HGVC on the strip for my next stay in Las Vegas!
Nice stay, but too far from the main strip
went there on a time share offer, nice place, comfortable condo style room, but not special, could do much better further south on the strip. Since you either have to drive, or walk a very long distance to get to the nice casinos, you could do better staying off the strip. Next to Circus Circus and across from Sahara - the 2 worst condition casinos on the strip.
Excellent Family Vacation Hotel!!!
This was the best family vacation hotel I could have ever imagined! I was so surprised to find a FULL KITCHEN including washer & dryer, dishwasher, full stove, and full-size referigerator! I then found out they gave you all the detergents and soaps needed for everything as well as pots and pans! It got better the further I walked - the 32' LCD TV, the spa-sized bath-tub - Everything! They don't have a restaurant, but they have a small deli/store (similar to a convenience store), so you have a few restaurant amenities, but if you're expecting room service with a full menu, it ain't gonna happen. This hotel was super clean, the pool was incredible (it even had propane grills and a nice bar/grill there). I was really impressed. If you are looking for a great family place or if you have a budget and a couple others to go in on a deal with you - this is definitely the place! This was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

Shop ahead, save on restaurants, and pack lightly
Since the rooms come with complete kitchens, just head to the store and buy some food to cook. The room comes with pots and pans, a large fridge, an oven, a sink, and a dishwasher. They also give you all the detergents you need. Go to the store and buy foods you can cook and you will save a ton on restaurants (don't forget cooking oil). There's also an Albertsons about a mile from the hotel. Also, pack lightly - since you have a washer and dryer in your room, you can wash and re-wear clothes.
Worth the money but..
be ready to walk if you want to see the sights! Check in was a breeze and we were able to check in early. Room was very nice and clean.. Bed was comfortable too... The pool in the morning hours is shady but gets better by around 11am... Prices are reasonable at the pool bar and we went to the CVS and got a small cooler and loaded it up with beer and took it to the pool with us which was great. We used the Duece bus for transportation and you have to have exact change. The concierge did not tell us that so when we went back to hotel to get change the lady at the marketplace didn't seem to be too happy to open up the register unless we bought something.. That was annoying... The maid service was good except she would forget to replace all the towels so we would have to get them from her and she forgot to give us coffee one day for the room.. There were just a few minor things that annoyed us but overall the trip was great.. Oh yea, another tip. They will tell you at the airport that a cab ride to this hotel is around 20.00. It was actually 30 and we took the freeway.. Just an FYI.... The spa is nice but they added 18% tip automatically to the bill for a pedicure. My wife commented that was the most expensive pedicure she ever has gotten but she enjoyed it...
