Staying at the Skyline Inn

Judy B. from Allentown, PA – Would stay again
Stayed Aug 2009, 4 days Most Recent Stay

We had a very nice stay at the Skyline in Niagara Falls Canada. Contrary to some reviews we did not find it overly loud, or dirty. The room we had was clean, despite being older. The maids were lovely, and though we didn't have small children with us, the movie in the courtyard was very nice. We felt it was a good location, near everything so you could walk everywhere. I felt the water park was overpiced and you paid for 1 day, not 24 hrs, Not the hotels fault but still... A bigger discount could have been given than the 10.00, same as any promo pamphlet. We paid $* for our daughter to swim for about 3 hrs. The other horrible thing was that everyone had to pay even if you don't swim, yet under 16 had to have a parent. Someone mentioned the upgrade to a room with windows so when that came I was ready. We looked at the room first and there was a window ;legally you'd have to have one with a lousy view of the A/C units. I wasn't there for the view, just needed light. The windows you upgrade to are the ones looking into the hall/courtyard where there is seating and the movie. Staff was lovely and kind. We had to have maintenece come in to replace the cable on our tv and though it was after 10pm they handled it immediately and very nicely. Parking wasn't great. You pay $* with tax per day and yes, try not to move the car, but all but one time we found a space easily. It's definetely afamily place and the only true noise was after the movie when the kids drug their pillows back to the rooms. Very cute!

We enjoyed our recent 2 night stay at the Skyline Inn. The location is very convenient to the casino, falls and attractions. Nice Family atmosphere and rooms were clean and spacious.

We went with two families, one with got the suite and one which had normal room. Unless you really need the additional bunk bed, suite is not worth the extra amount as its only a sleeping area. Hotel was well situated to attractions, dining and covered walkway to waterpark a plus. Parking is limited, but off site was not too far away. Found it was good bargain for the money.

This is a great Hotel for the price, and very family oriented. We reserved the Family Suite with bunk beds and were very pleased with all the room we had. Rooms were clean, and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definietly stay here again, even my 3 kids said they enjoyed it more than there stay at the Sheraton. Also enjoyed getting 10% off at the Restaurant.

Great location but watch for rate switching

Anonymous from Richmond, IN – Would stay again
Stayed Jul 2009, 3 days

Rooms are very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location to walking to almost everything. Watch out at check in for the rate switch by asking if you would like an upgrade that normally costs $60 for $20. The room you are going to get is the same as what you would have had ... only 20 bucks more. Also if you try to add an extra night the rate jumps to $*. Other than the quick change efforts at the front desk the place is great... especially if you have kids.
