Stay in the hotel, spend money outside

The hotel is great and has everything you need. However, don't bother spending a single * more than you have to inside the place. Food that costs you * inside the restaurant can be bought for a * outside. A beer that is * and any of their menus costs * at any store or restaurant outside. It's location is beautiful next to the Opera House. It's a few blocks away from the old quarter and a beautiful lake, so it's by everything you would need.

Easy transport

Right outside the hotel you've got a choice between taxis, motorbikes, and cyclos. Cyclos are the best since you get an on-the-ground view of the city and it can get you where you're going without walking too much. Negotiate price before you leave (shouldn't be more than a few dollars) and have a great time.
