My wife and I stayed at the Metro Hotel from Feb 18 - 22, 2009. The hotel location is within an easy mile walk of every place that tourists will want to see. We had a room one grade up from standard. I would recommend this since the standard rooms are a bit small by USA standards. Our room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very helpful. There is a small bar/cafe in the lobby and many other restaurants nearby. There is a large movie theater complex one block away. The hotel was reasonably priced and extremely well located. We would definitely stay here again.

There is a food court in a shopping center about 2 or 3 blocks up Pitt St. towards the Opera House. Many good inexpensive food options.

Stayed in superior Queen room. Very good size. Motel very central. We were able to walk to many places. Staff very helpful and friendly.
