Conrad Bali

My husband and I vacationed here and it could not have been better. The hotel & pool are outstanding. Food was a little pricey and after 6 days was a little monotonous, but very good. We loved the dinner shows by the pool every night. We hired a driver through the hotel who took us to the silver and gold mfg., batik (cothing) mfg., and the monkey forest; great day and very reasonable. Not much night life, but we didn't venture too far from the resort. If you are looking for a relaxing break, you cannot beat it.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. I've stayed at many high-end hotels, and very few match the standards of the Conrad-Bali. The staff is very professional; they know what they're doing, and they take pride in their work. My wife and I felt safe at all times due to the hotel's excellent security. The food was outstanding, and reasonably priced. The pool is amazing, but if you want to spend time in the ocean just walk down the beach about a qurater of a mile and you'll be in luck. Best hotel in the area by far; we walked by the others in the area.

Seminyak

The hotel offers great food, but you can get amazing food for much less expensive in Seminyak. Kuta has some decent restaurants, but it leaves much to be desired as a whole.

Driver

Most places from the hotel require the use of a driver (taxi). Most of the drivers that we encountered were very friendly, and spoke of their desire to see more tourists return to the area. Most of them spoke English very well, and took you directly to your destination, so long as you made it clear that you didn't want to detour to any of their buddies shops (where the drivers get kickbacks for bringing tourists to them).

Shop with a car from hotel, pics incredible wood carvings beautiful-wrap can bring home safely...all around amazing, swim from room-water temp is delightful, always cold towels to refresh. Sky is a must see!! Beach front at hotel is sparse-but does not take away from experience, food is wonderful...staff ready to pamper.We will return as soon as possible!

The architecture of the resort is on a massive scale. The pool is so practical for all levels. The food available was superb. The gardens an absolute delight. There was no desire to leave this resort to do anything else. I felt secure at all times. I could not fault anything. I WILL RETURN

I stayed in the hotel with family last February. The hotel was recommended by a firend of mine who have been the regular guest. From the moment we arrived at the Airport until we departed, we experienced the unparalled services we have experienced in some hotels before. We will definitely come back to this hotel.
