OK
The living quarters of the room are excellent. Great furniture great bed. No flat screen TV though, no fridge or microwave even though there is room for it. Bathroom on the other hand needs improvement small shower not a lot of water pressure. The bathroom has no vanity just a sink, nothing to put you accessories on!!!! :( Lobby is in great condition so is the restaurant all employees are friendly. The inner rooms of the hotel over look the center atrium and this is where they have conferences and weddings and so forth. Saturday nights is the wedding nights, late loud music til midnight, but good fun crowd. The hallways fo the hotel look like they are still in the remodel phase, old ceilings and walls look half finished wallpaper. Very close to airport 8 min by shuttle runs every 20 minutes. McDonalds, Subway, Steakhouse, gas station all within a 5 minute walk. If the bathrooms and hallways were up to date this would be a 5 star. They have BBQs in the summer saturday nights
Plaza Hotel Milwaukee Airport
This hotel is part of the Radisson chain. It is conveniently located near the airport and I-94. The hotel was very well kept and the furnishings in the lobby appeared new. Registration was quick and the staff friendly. My room was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The free wireless Internet was easy to access. The hotel has an on-site Houlihans restaurant that offered good selections and good service. This was very convienent, given the heavy snow that fell the day before. I had not problem and would stay at this hotel again.
Great hotel-Friendly helpful staff
The sleep number bed was great! The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly in assisting me with getting around the area. They have a restaurant called Houlihan's that was just fantastic. The food was excellent and the staff was exceptional. I will be back.
A rowdy time at the Radisson MKE!
When we arrived at the hotel we knew we were in trouble. People attending a reception at the hotel were sitting out front, standing in the parking lot, smoking & drinking. The ballroom is in the middle of the hotel and the rooms surround it, so the loud music until 12:15 am prevented us from sleeping, and we had to be at the airport at 6 am. Partygoers woke us up at 11 pm cursing and yelling in the hallway, drinks were spilled in the corridor and elevator when we went to checkout in the morning. Door "B" out into the parking lot was left open all night long, even though we called the front desk to tell them it was unlocked. We asked for a different room, but the only one they had was a King downstairs. \n\nRooms were clean and standard Radisson issue, but the common areas were dirty and worn. \n\nFront desk personnel were frustated and I don't blame them. What a terrible situation to deal with! There were several other guests complaining about the noise as well. The housekeeping employee was pleasant, helpful, and quickly responded to our request.\n\nWe did receive our wake-up calls and the close proximity MKE meant that we caught our flight on time. Needless to say we all slept on the flight home!\n\nAfter staying in the LaCrosse WI Radisson (lovely!) this was a big disappointment. Hard to imagine they are in the same hotel chain.
Radisson Whenever Possible
Nice Houlihan's Restaurant on-site. Friendly, helpful staff. Recently remodeled room...very nice. Beautiful marble hall floors...NOISY.
