Ramada Inn Waterpark Edmonton South

The hotel lobby smells like a 1970's lounge that hasn't been cleaned for a while. Hence the big sign on the pub out in the front parking lot above the liquor store says The Riviera just like Las Vegas, its been there for a while and the carpets to. I made a mistake booking on line I got the Ramada mistaken for the Radisson. The rooms stank, I told the kids not to let their clothes touch the floor in the room. The balcony was dirty you wanted to imagine you were somewhere else. Even the hanging do not disturb sign had brown stuff smeared on it.The Radisson was $ bucks more to stay at when I stayed there 3 months ago. WHAT a difference, I should have put my foot and not accepted the pig pen but I had 3 tired kids and thought I could get thru it. The neighbours were shouting from room to room across the hall early in the morning. It wasn't worth it to go out there and telling them to keep it down. Never again. This place is bad and I'm a male I can tolerate some things. This place has no class for a high price. It needs to be re evaluated on its rating and have a couple of stars stripped from it. Ripped Off!

The HOTEL above mention in present time is on renovation. The room is not that bad, but that hotel needs a lot a clean a presentation.

We are used to Ramada in the USA. We missed the continental breakfast. The onsite restaurant is over priced. There are restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. (Applebees, McDanoalds, etc. ) Phone : There was a sign that said .50 per local call. It was supposed to be free according to their site. We used our cell phone. The internet was supposed to be free also. There was a sign on the desk that said fees apply. Sooo we used a family members internet to check in when it was time to go home. The room had a funny odor. The carpet wasn't vacuumed good when we checked in, but it was cleaned later. The halls echoed whenever someone talked or laughed. Noisy guest kept us up late at night.(after 12 am) The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The pool was great! The exercise room was very tiny. I was just expecting more from Ramada. We're used to better amenities. If you're expectations are high; don't stay here. If you are looking for a place without too much then it's your place. Excellent location to attraction.

hotel is outdated, room smelled, lounge and restaurant are a joke.....would not recommend....

Stayed with my grand-daughter 4 nights and waterpark rented out most of the time to schools and birthday parties leaving no room for guests. Only clean part of hotel was the room.Carpets and balconies were filthy..Staff knew nothing about anything..NO Internet in rooms or front desk ..Very disappointed with the Ramada chain lately !!
