The Oberoi Bangalore

The Oberio Hotel and Resort is an excellent family oriented place. We were treated like royalty. The rooms were clean and provided the basic amenities. We had a nice view of the outside and very welcoming view. They have an outstanding Spa and great staff. Each and every one of the staff we ran into was very courtious and very helpful. We really enjoyed the stay and can't wait to go back. Thank You Oberio for making our trip a very special stay!!

The Oberoi hotels are generally 5 star facilities, but the one in Bangalore is in my opinion a 4 star hotel. The location is near the Taj Residency and near MG Road. The rooms were clean and provided the basic amenities. We had a nice view of the gardens from the back of the room. In comparison to other 5 star hotels we've stayed at in Bangalore, India, we didn't think that this one was exceptional. We recommend the ITC Windsor over this hotel. Also, the Taj West End was nicer in terms of the room quality and the quietness. The location of the Oberoi and the design of the rooms made it easy for us to hear the street noise. The noise level was very high since cars were constantly honking and we could hear the commotion from the street. We thought that some of the walls looked like they needed a repaint and the furniture was a bit dated, though not in terrible conditions. The gardens and the pool are pretty. The spa facility and the workout center are like the other 5 star hotels. \n\nOverall, if you want to stay in a 5 star facility, I recommend the ITC Windsor or the Taj West End. This Oberoi is not the Oberoi of the North of India.
