Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square-New York City

Our 4-day stay in January 2010 was fantastic. Location was unbelievable - walked to central park and the theaters. concierge was extremely helpful and friendly, as were the front desk staff. Breakfast was very good. Room was unbelievable - views of Times Square were incredible. I have never stayed in a hotel where there was a microwave, refrigerator, and sink in addition to a stocked mini-bar/snack center. It was great to be able to buy a few bottles of water from the corner store and use the refrigerator in the room without paying $* for something out of the mini-bar. Security was great, doormen were very nice. The pillows were amazing - I ordered 4 online when I got home. Absolutely no noise from the street or nearby rooms or elevators - our door faced the elevators and because of the way the room was designed, we heard absolutely no noise. The only Glitch which was probably my problem was that I hung the do not disturb sign for less than 30 minutes in the morning before we went out and our room was not cleaned while we were gone. When we returned that evening, We called and a housekeeper was sent right up. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the theater district.

Loved the hotel. You walk right out onto Time Square, and the Hop on Hop off Bus is right outside the door, the subway kitty-corner across the street. Great restaurants are within a block or so, fabulous given we were there in chilly January so we didn't walk far. Staff was very helpful and gave us great tips on what to do. The room was very nice, a suite, and clean, bathroom was huge and we had a view overlooking Time Square. the pullout bed had a nice mattress on it, very comfortable. both TVs were probably 40-46 inch flat screens. The price was very affordable, and I recommend this hotel to everyone.

It was everything I expected. This hotel has great location in Time Square, and close to the subway. They have the best chocolate chip cookies!! The staff was very helpful with any questions. Great Conceirge!! Thanks for the tickets to Mary Poppins, seating was excellent, must see musical !!!!!

This is a wonderful hotel. When we told them this was our first trip to New York City after being married 33 years, DoubleTree Time Square gave us a corner room on the 32 floor with a great view of Time Square. When we didn't have towels they fix the problem and gave us a fruit basket. This is a fantastic hotel in a great location with a super staff My wife and I would stay here agian on our next visit to NYC

We loved this hotel and would recommend it to anyone traveling with more than two people. It was just really nice to have two rooms. The hotel is in a prime location and felt very safe. This hotel made our trip that much better.
