Weekend Getaway
We had a wonderful time at the Hyatt. Great location. Walking distance to everything but far enough away from Fisherman Wharf that it is quiet. Staff was great, Rooms were great and service was great. Would stay here again and tell all my friends to stay also.
Great two day stay
My family and I like this hotel. Room was a little small but it was clean and cozy. Also, you can choose a larger room with a little bit more dollars. Staffs were nice, too. The best thing is the location. Fishermen's wharf is 2 short blocks away, and Mason/Powell line is one short block away. You can go to Chinatown/downtown using cable car (mason line then california line?)
Great Location
This hotel was in a great location for Fishermans Wharf and the Trolley. Would definitely stay here again. Hotel was very modern, staff very helpful. We took taxi from airport to hotel $50, and didn't need a car. Parking at hotel very expensive per day.
Not clean & amenities?
What's Good: walk to Fisherman's Wharf, Staff very kind and helpful. What's Bad: DIRTY bathroom with terrible lighting and no fan, no microwave, no refrigerator, have to ask for clean towels and bed linens if you stay over, they do not automatically provide these. Room layout makes it so you walk quite a distance to the elevator on your floor. Coming back to San Francisco next month and will NOT consider staying at this hotel again.

breakfast
Instead of paying $18.00 per person for brunch at the hotel, walk across the street to the little cafe; fresh, reasonably priced, good breakfast and great service there.
good location
Convenient location to all Fishermans Wharf attractions, easy walk to everything. I do have to say that particular Hyatt is not plush like other Hyatts I have stayed in. They do have a nice hot tub and heated pool and if you want that this is the place to stay. If a hot tub is not important to you than theres not much difference here between this Hyatt and the Holiday Inn Express which is across the street. The hotel restaraunts is irrelevent in this area since there are excellent restaurants all over the place, probabaly 50 of them with in 3 blocks. Parking is $45 a nite and if you are staying to sight see for a few days a car is the last thing you want, taking taxis is cheaper than parking by far. I would stay again for the hot tub if I was going to FW again
