Great hotel
This was an excellent hotel for the money. Delicious food in the restaurant and ample breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
A nice hotel for the money
We enjoyed our stay at the Pear Tree hotel in St.Louis. The front desk people were nice and friendly. The location of the hotel to many attractions downtown were great. You could walk to alot of places or get a taxi. You do not have to pay for parking your car at the hotel that was very nice. Loved the popcorn and sodas that were free and the nightly beer and wine and munchies were great too. The pool was nice and the hot tub too. The room was a nice size and clean and we got a good nights sleep the bed felt so good. over all we liked it alot. We would stay there again and recommend the hotel.
Last minute /Great experience!!!
We had a lst minute urge to take off from TN and head to St.Louis for a fall break family vaction. Like most folks, we are on a budget and wanted to see the Arch and the Zoo, which we heard was one of the best in the U S. We stumbled across some reviews for this hotel, and with the great rate we found and the good reviews, decided to take it. Free parking, free awesome breakfast buffet daily along with complimentary popcorn and soft drinks from 3-10 daily and 3 drink happy hour for the adults, it was a great deal. The staff was 1st class, the Arch 2 miles one way and the Zoo 4 miles the other, we couldn't have had a better situation. This will be our destination hotel for any future trips to St Louis. Nothing negative to say here.
Great Hotel!
This is easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. I realized after we had already checked in that I had booked a non-smoking room. So, I asked at the front desk if they had a smoking room available. She didn't have a regular room ready, and so she put us in an upgraded room at no extra charge! And, it was my mistake, not theirs!! This hotel is so clean and always concerned about their guests comfort. I had the "do not disturb" sign on the door and the housekeeper called the room to ask if we needed towels, coffee, or anything, and I had her leave them outside the door. My husband and I had carryout lunch from the attached restaurant, and it was great and items that we had never had before. They offer a shuttle to the stadium, which is so convenient. Although, we didn't use the pool or hot tub, I went in and looked around. They have fresh beach towels awaiting you; you don't have to bring them from your room. We had a great two nights!
Great hotel!!!!
I had to stay here because it was the hotel that my husband's brother was using for wedding guests, so I had little to do with booking it. But once we got there I was amazed at the friendliness of the staff and all of the extra amenities that made my stay a very enjoyable one! Every morning there was a complementary breakfast - very good - eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, pastries, and waffles! Every afternoon from 3-10 you can get popcorn and soda from the lobby. Every evening from 5:30-7 (or something like that) they serve beer and wine. Three drinks per person, per room, per day! All of this is included in your stay! The staff was super friendly! The rooms were clean. The parking was great! Free, no charge. There is a secure parking garage that you get a code for when you check in. There is free wifi available in the rooms and in the lobby. There is also a business center with free computer use and free printing in the lobby. There is an indoor pool but I did not go swimming. The hotel is down the street from the Arch (about 1.5 miles away). It is about a 5 minute walk from Union Station. Great location! There is also a bar/restaurant attached to the hotel with great drink specials and very entertaining Karaoke on the weekends! This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at!
