Great Hotel
We stayed at the Tuscan Inn for our 1st wedding anniversary and it was everything we had hoped for. We arrived 3 hours before check in and they were very quick to find us an available room so we didn't have to wait. The room was clean, the view was great, and surprisingly quite large. Being a boutique hotel, usually the rooms are small. The bed however wasn't the most comfortable. The hotel is walking distance from a variety of things- fisherman's wharf, pier 39, main cable car stop, multiple restaurants, and a plaza with a pharmacy, grocery store, ext. The staff was friendly and pleasant. My only negative would be the fee for parking-$* per night. And you will have to park at the hotel, because there are no parking lots around and parking on the street all night really isn't safe. Other then that I really can't say anything more negative. Our trip was really awesome!
Wouldn't stay again
The room (standard one queen bed) was so small that the baggage guy couldn't even get the bag cart into the room. It would fit into the doorway, that was it. Very small room. The free wine they offer from 5-6 in the lobby is cool, but you are limited to 2 glasses per guest. Great location, easy to walk to Fisherman's Wharf or Pier 39. Parking was $* every 24 hours.
it was nice staying at this hotel
the hot and cold water in the shower needs to be fix red means hot and blue is cold, room 453.
Nice stqay at the Tuscan Inn
All went well. The location was great. The reservations and check in were handled appropriately. The room was nice (not five star, but I didn't pay for five star). The staff was, without fail, courteous and helpful. They always made me feel like a guest rather than just a customer.
