Hotel So

The new design concepts are all first rate, except for bed placement against the window in our room.

First up, the rooms are small - like a cruise ship. Some of rooms are internal - so windowless. But if you're OK with that (as I was), then this is a superb hotel. I was traveling with a friend and it worked out cheaper to get 2 rooms here than a double room elsewhere. The gadgets in the room were great (various settings of "mood lighting") and the staff were genuinely nice.\n\nMy traveling companion had an external room which faced the pub next door which was noisey until 5:00am. Front Desk said they were installing soundproofing soon - but I'd otherwise recommend an internal room for now.

Whatbar adjacent to the lobby was great value. Good local wines for cheap (at least in US$)

You must pay 15.00 extra for room service every day, it is not included in the room price. You must also pay an extra 50.00 for each day of stay, upfront on your credit card which will be released at the end of your stay. ie 10 days is 500.00.\nThe room is very small and has no where to hang more than two items. All the beds I was able to view are against the wall so I do not recommend these rooms for more than 1 person and for a stay over a couple days. \nThey did not have available the tv stations they advertised.\n
