This is definitely a good resort, the only complaints i had was the fact that upon arrival the staff was a bit slow in attending to us and when we checked into our room the phone wasnt working, but i have to hand it to the staff that they did all they could to fix these problems, the food was good, the room was great, lots of trees and plants in the area so it wasnt really that hot, and I just would like to applaud one of their staff who was our tour guide in Cebu by the name of DenDen, he was friendly and excellent and also to every staff very helpful throughout our stay and we would definitely come back here if we have the time

I had a wonderful time at alta resort. Beautiful trees and flowers, nice rooms and a wonderful staff. A short ride to the beach that is a free ride, great food and very friendly people. I will definetly come back again.

I think this is the best place I've seen for a romantic getaway. ALTA has lush rambling gardens....peaceful and romantic. If you need more excitement, they are not far from great scuba and city nightlife. For comfort, convenience, and gracious hospitality, this is the place! The architecture is quaint and really like an authentic Philippine village...It is a new resort, so it is not really crowded, but I think that may not last for long. There is a restaurant called "La Mia". They are a short drive from ALTA. Their driver will come and pick you up at the resort. They have great dishes and the traditional dancing is fun to watch.
