The suite was large and very comfortable. The furniture was worn but not shabby. I was able to check in in the AM which made it very convenient. The room had 2 queen beds and a powder room as well as a full bath. The full kitchen allowed you to prepare meals instead of always eating out. I would stay again.

My boyfriend and I found the Eastgate Tower Hotel to be a convenient location to everything we wanted to see on our first trip to NYC. Grand Central Station was a few blocks away (walking distance) so that we could catch the subway anywhere we wanted to go. We received a great restaurant recommendation from the front desk staff. Everyone was generally friendly and seemed willing to help find anything we needed. The rooms are a little outdated, but comfortable and spacious.

This hotel is shabby, and caters to a backpacker kind of crowd. My room was very warm and there was no way to adjust the temperature. There are so many great hotels close by, like the W...I would not choose this one again.

I just returned from 4 nights at the Eastview. Had studio apt, in geat shape with comfy bed. a long walk from Broadway, but close to where the locals eat and shop. All choices are in area...McDonalds across the street, close to bus lines. Definitely recommend over small cramped hotel rooms which are typicval for NYC. Everything very clean and staff is one of friendliness I have encountered. I"ll be back.

The room we had was great. It was an older hotel, but the room was very spacious and very clean. 2 adults and 4 children fit very comfortably. The staff was courteous and helpful. The location was great (Only a few blocks from Grand Central Station). We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone including friends and family.
