Great for families
The hotel is average, but had some great features. First, the kids LOVED the pool. It's an indoor/outdoor pool that lets you swim between the two. There are towels outside and two phones that dial directly to 911. There are no life guards. The hot tub is pretty large, but the kids mostly spent their time in the pool. We had a King and a sofa pull-out bed (they definitely need better mattresses there). We have 3 kids (9, 4, and 3), and the room was plenty big enough for us. The (non-LCD) t.v. had plenty of channels, but the ""services"" section of the t.v. crashed every time I tried to access it. The hotel has signs pointing to vending machines that don't exist. You just have to go to the front desk and buy drinks/snacks that are in a fridge next to the front desk. They served a continental style breakfast, but we didn't have time to try it. The coffee machine by the front desk was nice, and they also have computer services nearby. The hotel is that it is feet away from a Joe's Crab Shack that has a playground. There are a few other restaurants within walking distance, but this one was literally right outside. All 3 entertainment venues, the Rangers ballpark, the Cowboys stadium, and Six Flags, are right around the corner. I don't think I'll stay at this hotel again mostly because we like to try out different hotels, but we really enjoyed our experience there. It was one of the only hotels in the region that took 5 guests in one room. It was also much cheaper than the other hotels we found nearby ($X/night).
Excellent Choice
Staff very friendly. Very clean and comfortable. Nice pool with courtyard. Walking distance (75 yards) to several restaurants. We come to DFW occasionally and this is where we will book future trips. Would recommend to family and friends. Great breakfast.
good experience
the hotel is easy to find and good enviroment, room is clean and the staff are courtesy, but the room's voice isolation need to improve, that night the next room lived in two guys, the television is so noisy.
Great place for Rangers Fans
This was a good place to stay for our Rangers game. This may be a little bit more of a walk to the game for some people. It took us about 10 min to get there. If you didn't want to walk, the trolly has a pick up stop there at the hotel.
AWESOME
After a nightmare experience at Country Inn we came here and this hotel was wonderful. We finally got sleep, my children finally were able to use the pool, the staff was extremly friendly and made our stay so comfortable. We paid more for this hotel but it was more than worth it. I will start looking for this hotel any where we go on vacation again.
