Circus Circus Hotel and Casino

I was very disappointed with our two night stay here at Circus Circus. It looks old and worn out from the front. The last time I was in Vegas was about 15 years ago and the place looked like it had not been updated since then. First, it was confusing on how to get to our room. We had to walk quite a distance, take two different elevators and were constantly being shocked by static electricity. Second, the room was terrible. We booked two king size beds and received two queens. They wanted to charge $* a day for wifi. The springs were evident on the beds. No iron or ironing board. No coffee pot. The fan didn't work in the bathroom, if there was one at all. On our last day, I checked our bill and it showed charges for services we did not use. First, they charge you $*/day for a phone we never used, and second, we were charged for a roll away bed that we didn't ask for. When I called down to ask what these charges were, I was told that all rooms are charged for the phone no matter what. This should have been on the travel web site. When asked about the beds, I was told that we had requested it when we checked in. When I told them no we didn't, they said they would send housekeeping up to make sure we didn't have one. I told them that was unacceptable and asked them to remove it. Needless to say after 30 minutes waiting in my room and going down to the front desk, waiting an additional 15 minutes, they finally removed it. Overall, a very disappointing experience.....Never again!

Air conditioner was very noisey all night. Had a hard time sleeping. Had to shut it off at night.

Considering the price I have no complaints. There is so much to do within the hotel itself and the restaurants are conveniently located close to the rooms. Take advantage of the 20 dollar all day pass to the buffet you can eat all you want from 7am to 10 pm!!! If you are looking for good drinks head to the bar in slots-a-fun they have those great big souvenier cups at great prices. The room was exceptionally clean. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you but keep in mind how much you paid for the room.

hotel was not as clean as i would have liked

I chose to stay in this hotel for the good value and closeness to areas of interest for the trip. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Everyone was courteous, with good attitude. I would stay again !!
