Conrad Chicago

Spent two nights around New Years. The room was nicely decorated and spotless. Beds were exceedingly comfortable. The staff was unfailingly friendly, the attendant who brought up our luggage even warned us that the minibar has a delicate sensor, so we shouldn't let the kids fiddle with it. The price was very, very reasonably for a nice hotel in an excellent location. My only issue, and this is a minor one, is that the restaurant had very nice food, but was extremely expensive. Overall, however, it was an excellent experience and I would definitely stay there again.

I didn't realize that I hadn't specified a non-smoking room in my travel agency profile and when I arrived at the fully-booked hotel, I was put in a smoking room. The manager claimed that because my room was booked through a "third party" they didn't need to honor my request for a non smoking room. The hotel is really quite nice but the scent of stale smoke pretty much ruined my night.

Outstanding experience. Would definitely stay again. The room was spacious. Wonderful bedding. Large bathroom with separate tub and shower and water closet style toilet. Perfect location walking distance from excellent restaurants and shopping. You won't be disappointed!

The Conrad Chicago Hotel had all around excellent service and a very nice staff. When asked if they had a fridge we could put a cake in, they actually brought one up, for free! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. In terms of placement in the city, it's square in the middle, made getting to tourist sites extremely easy. Most of the items on our must see; list were either within walking distance of the hotel or a $* cab ride. A train station is also close, but we didn't really have a chance to utilize it. Maybe next time. Would definitely stay again in this wonderful hotel. Cheers!

Absolutely beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds and rooms. The shower was great, lovely views. I'd highly recommend dining out on the Terrace-it's first class service. The hotel staff was very knowledgable, friendly, polite and accommodating! I'll definitely stay at the Conrad again - highly recommend it.
