Hilton Garden Inn Fort Wayne

The Hilton Garden Inn Fort Wayne has a cozy lobby with fireplace and comfy sofas, perfect for relaxing and reading a book. They also have an indoor pool, jacuzzi and a great fitness center with Precor equipment. The hallways are wide and well-lit and have new carpeting...very nice! Our family really enjoyed having a microwave oven, fridge and 4-cup coffee maker in the room. It made for quick & easy meal preparations between sporting events. They even sell microwaveable meals, soups, ice creams, snacks, bev's in a little mini-mart by the front desk, it's open 24 hours! The rooms are spotless and the front desk staff (Juan and Andrea) really made us feel at-home! There is a charge for breakfast, but for the price there were so many items to choose from, and they have a Chef that makes fresh cooked eggs, omelets, french toast and more! This breakfast is so much better that the pre-packaged & microwaved food that most budget hotels offer! The only negative thing I can say is that the hotel is on a one-way road, which made getting to it very confusing; there should be signs! We will definitely return to this hotel!!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for Christmas Eve (12/24/08). The only negative about the hotel was that it wasn't intuitive how to get to it. Although the hotel is right off the interstate you have to go to the stoplight past the hotel to turn in and follow the back road to get there. The ambiance at the hotel was wonderful ? like a big hotel but with a boutique hotel feel. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and courteous. Our room was clean and first rate ? no surprises. The king sized bed was individually adjustable for firmness ? very comfortable. They had a very nice working desk and professional chair. Free wireless Internet service. We were able to plug our iPod into the clock radio. The room also had a small microwave coffee pot and small refrigerator. Breakfast was great ? hot and cold buffet. All the food was fresh. They even had a chef to prepare omelets to order. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. I was not expecting this level of service on Christmas morning since a number of hotels, that we stayed at in Fort Wayne before, cut back on their offerings or even closed entirely for Christmas Eve/Day.

The hotel was beautiful and spotless; staff was very professional and accommodating; great value!
