Very new and clean
Great shower and bathroom, but the carpet needs professional cleaning
Interesting
We returned in midApril, two couples in our late 50's. Stayed two nights then onto Glasgow. The hotel itself is clean but not friendly. Located right on the Thames so transportation or walking to everywhere is very convenient. One of our rooms fronted on the rail tracks and garbage bins. The other on the small car park so be specific is you want to take advantage of the location and views. Cafeteria style food downstairs a bit pricey, crowded and rushed. Didn't try the restaurant but the bar was nice. I wouldn't take children there unless you are spending most of your time somewhere else. It appeared that the hotel is opening timeshares or condos or something so there was a fair amount of construction going on as well. IT ws good for the price and the length of stay in the City.
Great Location
The Riverbank Park Plaza was in a great location and very modern for a European hotel. Complimentary breakfast was pretty good and a real bargain with the awful exhange rates. The hotel was conveniently located to the Tube and in great place for sight seeing around London. The rooms were a bit small, but had modern TVs. For some reason they did not replace dirty glasses, but there was a lounge where you could get new ones.
Watch the details
This is a modern hotel with beautiful interior design. However, our experience is not pleasured. The bath did not have cool water and the sink was leaking. The light at bathroom is not allowed to turn off. With light going through the bathroom glass door, no one can sleep at night. In the end, we had to remove the light bulb from the ceiling. The worst was no one came to fix the problem even after notifying the front desk!!!This hotel is located in Vauxhall where is very quiet and hardly to find any restaurant or convenient store."
fabulous hotel
We have traveled all over the U.K. with my husband being Scottish, and I was very worried about the hotel not living up to my expectations, but It was awesome....the only drawback is its not real kid friendly, but our kids didnt seem to care, they loved it too.
