so far so good
we stayed in tower 1, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The view wasn't great but who cares unless you are in NY or the beach. The hotel staff were helpful and polite. As a couple of single women we never worried for our safety. The pub next door was great because it has all the fast food places like Subway and Burger King inside. We ate there. The bar across the drive way had too many young young people so we didn't stay but the guys at the door were great and full of local info. Parking was a problem at first because even finding the drive way in, we were lost. If you aren't looking you will pass it and not even know it. For us it was just an easy place to stay. No problems. Oh and cheap. Did I mention cheap? $* per night. Our friends stayed at a hotel behind us and paid $* per night. Their room was no better than ours.
Suite
I stayed at the suite. At first I wasn't that impressed! The walls are to thin! Not quiet at all! There was construction going on rude awakening! 5:45 AM!!! Terrible will not stay there AGAIN!! Not worth the price!!
Great Location
Although not the newest hotel on the strip my stay was enjoyable. Rooms were old and worn but, the bed and pillow were comfortable, the shower worked well and the room was quiet. The elevators were inadequate for the number of floors and people. The stairs were dirty and you can only go down. Climb the stairs to your floor and you will find the door locked with no way in.
Much better than I expected
After booking the place and then reading all the bad reviews, I was a little apprehensive - but was pleasantly surprised when I got there. The room was clean, had a nice, firm, bed and was very quiet. The bathroom was definitely not fancy, but the shower was fine and the bathroom clean. The TV was very old and small, but we never even watched it - so who cares. The room was large and roomy with plenty of space. I thought the buffet was great - all you can eat crab legs - can't beat that and no waiting! The buffet in the Paris casino is fabulous - go there too (45 minutes wait though!). The look-alike singers/dealers were kind of cheesy - but hey that's what Las Vegas is all about! Check-in wait was about 30 minutes - not bad at all and the person who helped us was very nice. They do need more elevators, but can't do much about that. All in all I thought it was a great deal for the money and the location is fantastic!

Imperial Palace
The Imperial Palace was perfect in its location on the main strip. It was located right across from Caesars Palace. Our hotel room was on the 18th floor, viewing the strip and the mountains. It was beautiful every morning and evening. If we were anyplace else in the hotel I would have been very disappointed. So, if you go to Vegas, and stay at the Imperial Palace, make sure you know where your room will be located. The gambling area was just as good as any other casino. The only thing that needed improvement was the quality of the food at the restaurants, especially the buffet on the 3rd floor. I would advise everyone to go to other restaurants to eat. Otherwise, the hotel as a whole, including the rooms were excellent. I would give the Imperial Palace 4 out of 5 stars for a rating.
