a piece of Paradise!
my wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon on 06/17/2005 and now again for a week starting on 09/17/2009 this time with our 19 month old girl. We totally loved it, so did our daughter. the beach is perfect for little ones. we plan to be back here again next year and just cant say enough about how nice the place is. The people there are very friendly, the rooms are fantastic for the price and the view is to die for. wonderfully relaxing!
Grand Case Beach Club was Great!
We stayed at Grand Case Beach Club for a week and were very pleased with the hotel and the service. It was very quaint, French and clean. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely return to this hotel for a quiet, laid back vacation. The only concern we had was walking into town at night in the dark. We saw plenty of security, but we still did not feel as safe as if we were in a more commercial part of the island. Other than that, we loved our stay and would recommend Grand Case Beach Club to everybody!
Comfortable, good value
We were a bit underwhelmed by this resort at first because our previous trip to the Caribbean had involved staying at the Westin in St. John. Our room at Grand Case seemed a bit worn and humble by comparison. But this turned out to be the best place we could have stayed in St. Martin. So nice to be in Grand Case on the French side, within walking distance of all the best restaurants on the island! We wouldn't have been nearly as happy on the noisy Dutch side of the island. The Grand Case Beach Club was large enough to provide services such as an on-site restaurant, water sports, car rental, and security guards. Other hotels in Grand Case were too small to provide these services. We had a fun trip to Creole Rock, ten minutes from the resort, for snorkeling with Alain. We were very sad to leave, and would recommend this place to anyone traveling to St. Martin.
Great Hotel
Hotel is on a beautiful beach. Our oceanfront studio was very nice with a beautiful view. Two cushioned lounge chairs on our first floor patio. The staff puts the cushions out every morning and sets them on your patio every evening, so they are never damp. Like any island resort, you need to keep the air on to avoid that damp smell and feel. But we found this place to be much better than some others we have been at. Grounds are beautiful, lots of flowers and very well kept up. Breakfast was included, but it is always just a basket of french bread and a few rolls. Good, but boring after several days. Hot coffee and fresh juice brought to your table. Food at restaurant was delicious the first try and so-so the next. Not cheap, but no worse than any other tourist place. If nothing else, it is nice to eat on the open air porch overlooking the ocean everyday. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Try the LoLos - they were cheap and good. Some snorkeling around the beach, but nothing spectacular. Water sports guys will take you out, but again, not cheap. Easy to rent a car - about $30 a day for an economy size. Plenty big enough for the narrow roads! Managers welcome party on Mondays was very nice. We would definately come back.

Loterie Farm ZipLine Experience
We thought this would be a cool experience. Took the regular trip (not the extreme). This is a lot more work than you would think. Make sure you know the dangers. I ended up with a broken foot. Ended up cutting vacation short.
Great Hotel....Would go back.
If you are looking for a quiet, non-mega resort hotel the Grand Case Beach Club is great. Many rooms are ocean view. The hotel is split between 2 beaches with comfy chairs, and natural shade on one. Staff was very friendly. Only ate breakfast there which was very good. Great location, 5 minute walk to Grand Case. Security gated, never felt threatened walking around Grand Case or hotel. We snorkeled Creole Rock which was the best snorkeling on the island. I swam out there once (long swim), but for $35 USD, Sebastian or Lorenz will take you out in a little boat and guide you around the rock. Room were comfortable and feature a kitchenette with fridge, stove, and microwave. Pool was very small, but we were on the beach so we didn't care. We also vistied the Westin which was also nice -- typical large lobby, casino, mega-resort. For us we prefer the quiet, intimate setting of the Grand Case Beach Club.
