On the Island of St Lucia, in the Eastern Caribbean, overlooks Marigot Bay, with dramatic views of the sea and harbor. Overlooking what James A Michener called the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean, the Discovery at Marigot Bay is located approximately 35 miles from the St Lucia Airport and near Diamond Botanical Gardens, Fond Doux, Pigeon Island National Park, and Sulphur Springs.
It offers accommodations carved into a lush, tropical hillside with dramatic views of the sea and beautiful yachts coming in and out of the harbor. All guests are entitled to either a full American breakfast in the restaurant or a continental breakfast in the guestroom. Non-motorized water sport and snorkeling equipment, weekly cocktail Party, and well-being classes are included in the rooms rate. Lapli Spa, Lapli, which means both rain and blessings in Creole, is designed to reflect the hues and tones of the Caribbean Sea and sky. Each treatment room has its own private deck with open-air shower and there is a Zen garden with an ofuru wooden soaking tub and massage cabanas. Treatments use a mix of E Spa products and local ingredients available from Caribbean herbalists.
Out of the 57 suites half have outdoor Jacuzzis and 35 rooms. All units are one-, two-, or three-bedroom suites. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, Internet access, flat screen TVs with DVD players, and music systems.
