Overlooking Playa de Flamingos, the Mediterranean-style Hotel Riu Jalisco is located approximately nine miles from Puerto Vallarta and 10 miles from Puerto Vallarta International Airport. This location is also two miles from Nuevo Vallarta.

The property's amenities include the two lighted tennis courts, two freshwater lagoon pools, children's pool, two Jacuzzis, sun terrace, fitness center, sauna, four bars and swim-up bar, spa facilities, watersports, dive shop, and disco. Don Emiliano and Dona Adelita restaurants are on site for buffet dining, as well Italian and Brazilian specialties at Rodicio Nayarit and lighter fare by the sea at La Torre beach and snack bar. The all-inclusive plan covers all meals and beverages, snacks, theme nights, all taxes and tips, and use of all facilities and non-motorized watersport equipment.

All rooms feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, minibars (with liquor dispensers), safes, telephones, and balconies or terraces.
