The hotel was open in 1988, and has hosted more than 300 heads of state and celebrities from around the world. The 582 guest rooms are elegantly decorated with an oriental style or modern western design. All rooms have Internet access, coffee/tea maker, and business stationery. Jin Jiang Tower's restaurants serve a delicious variety of food prepared by the hotel's famous chefs. The Blue Heaven Revolving Restaurant, on the 41st floor, is one of Shanghai's best vantage points for overlooking the city.
