Shaped like a boat with its bow pointing towards the ocean, the NH Krystal Hotel Ixtapa offers accommodations on a popular public beach approximately 15 miles from the airport. The spacious landscaped grounds encompass an expansive free-form pool, two tennis courts, and plenty of hammocks.

Dining options include a casual international restaurant, a breakfast buffet overlooking the Pacific, Italian cuisine, and classic Mexican fare as well as a lobby bar with live music in the evening and Club de Playa Beach Club, an excellent spot for snacks and beverages during the day. Amenities include room service, a daily activities program, playground, children's pool, fitness room, beauty salon, racquetball courts, massage treatments, babysitting, laundry facilities, safe deposit boxes, a concierge desk, boutiques, and parking.

NH Krystal Ixtapa offers the option of an all-inclusive plan that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner (does not include shrimp, fine cuts and lobster), domestic and selected international drinks during operational hours of establishments (does not include Christine Club), snacks at the pool area, no cover at Christine Club (except open bar days or private events), room service, use of the gym, recreational activities, and all tips and taxes.
